I spent my childhood in small-town Michigan, going on adventures in the woods, watching Saturday morning cartoons, and perfecting my Nintendo skills. After high school, I attended Western Michigan University. Later, finding my way to Fort Lauderdale, FL, to attend college at The Art Institute, where I studied graphic and interior design. I ultimately moved to New York City, where I began working in event production, furniture restoration, and freelance retail operations for various clients.
My happiest moments in life are spent capturing the city through photography, reconnecting with nature, and on the eternal hunt for ways to entertain my cats, Joe and Deb. I have a deep passion for protecting all creatures, big and small. I also enjoy testing out my kitchen skills, often baking vegan cookies with varied degrees of success.
Like so many, I have experienced the loss of family from suicide. The experience has made me realize the importance of organizations like INELDA, which I’m thrilled to be a part of…an organization whose mission, offerings, and goals align with my own values and love for humanity.
