ABOUT THIS COURSE: Our online death doula training is for those who intend to support the dying and their loved ones at end-of-life. We will investigate models of care, deep active listening, ritual and ceremonies, vigil planning, and more. This training is open to all, and consists of self-paced prework, online training sessions, online postwork and includes 2 optional group Q&A’s sessions.

COST: $695

DISCOUNTS: 5% for Tier 2 and 3 Members

Required Sessions

This class will meet for 6 sessions as follows (all times shown are Eastern Time):

  • JUNE 25 | TUE 6:30pm – 10:30pm
  • JULY 2 | TUE 6:30pm – 10:30pm
  • JULY 9 | TUE 6:30pm – 10:30pm
  • JULY 16| TUE 6:30pm – 10:30pm
  • JULY 23 | TUE 6:30pm – 10:30pm
  • JULY 30 | TUE 6:30pm – 10:30pm

Optional group Q&A with your educator 

  • JULY 6 | SAT 11:30am – 1:30pm
  • AUGUST 3 | SAT 11:30am – 1:30pm

Additional Details

  • Prework consists of an estimated 10-12 hours of self-paced videos, journaling, and discussion forums.
  • Postwork consists of an estimated 2-3 hours of independent exercise & discussion forum.
  • Participation in our online sessions requires internet access and the use of a computer, tablet, or phone with audio & video capabilities.
  • Intermittent breaks and/or lunches will be provided during each session depending on course format.
  • As part of the coursework, participants will receive a PDF manual to download/print prior to beginning prework.
  • In order to receive an INELDA Certificate of Completion for the course, you must complete all prework materials, attend required sessions, and complete postwork.
  • Completion of our training allows INELDA members to be listed on our Doula Directory & to move forward with our Certification process.
