About this training: Doula training is for those who intend to support the dying and their loved ones. Investigate models of care, deep active listening, rituals and ceremonies, vigil planning, and more. This training consists of online prework (10-12 hrs), in-person training sessions at the Hollyhock Retreat Centre (detailed below), and online postwork (3-5 hrs). A Certificate of Completion will be made available after finishing all necessary materials.

There will be 40 seats available for the training.

Schedule Details

Required IN-PERSON Sessions:

This training will meet for 6 days in September 2024, as follows (all times shown are Pacific Time):

• September 6 | FRI 8pm – 9pm (plan to arrive between 2pm — 5pm)  
• September 7 | SAT 10am –  6:30pm*
• September 8 | SUN 2pm – 6:30pm
• September 9 | MON 10am – 5:00pm*
• September 10 | TUES 10am – 6:30pm*
• September 11 | WED 10am – 12pm

*Intermittent breaks are offered for this day of training. A detailed schedule will be available at least 2 weeks in advance of the program. View the sample schedule here
