Christina Marthield Montgomery

I am a Black, disabled, fat, femme lesbian woman who wears many hats. I am the pastor of First Lutheran Church of the Trinity in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago and I am also an INELDA-trained, end-of-life doula serving marginalized communities under the name Accompany Dying. I received my MDiv in May 2021 from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago and currently live in the Hyde Park neighborhood with my spouse Danielle and stepson, Ezekiel. In my spare time, I collect elephant items and love to knit and crochet.
