END-OF-LIFE DOULA BRIDGE TRAINING
As doula work evolves, so does our learning
This training is for those interested in learning The INELDA Doula Approach launched in September of 2024 and the latest techniques covered in our end-of-life doula curriculum. If your INELDA-training occurred prior or you trained with another doula organization, we look forward to sharing our process-based model with you. For those interested in applying for our year-long certification program and have not taken INELDA’s End-of-Life Doula Training or the Hospice Doula Training, but have completed another end-of-life doula program, the Bridge Training provides a direct pathway to apply.
COST: $475
- DISCOUNTS: 5% for Tier 2 and 3 Members, 15% for Student or Military
- SCHOLARSHIPS: Available
- ONLINE PREWORK: estimated 3-4 hours
- EDUCATOR-LED SESSIONS: 8 hours live
- PREREQUISITE: Completion of an end-of-life doula training. For learners that did not train with INELDA, submit your documentation of completion here.
- REQUIREMENTS: Internet access to Zoom
- Previously trained INELDA doulas: Receive a reduced fee of $225 with membership. Current INELDA Certified Doulas members may take this training free of charge.
Is End-of-Life Doula Bridge Training right for you?
Our Bridge Training includes our core curriculum and teaches doulas The INELDA Doula Approach. Learners will have the opportunity to access our foundational prework and then meet in a live group session for one day (8hrs) led by an INELDA educator. Together we will hold a shared learning space, engage in discussion, practice The INELDA Doula Approach and consider the current field of deathcare.
This training invites you to revisit who or what brought you to end-of-life work and strengthen those foundational doula principles with INELDA’s current training approach and prepare you for your next steps.
TRAINING MATERIALS PROVIDED:
- All learners will be granted access to prework and discussion forums, a workbook to download, and upon completion of the live session and postwork, a certificate of completion. A printed workbook will also be shipped to each learner.

EDUCATORS
Our growing team of educators draws from decades of work as end-of-life doulas. Their insights and stories from the bedside capture the essence of doula work and inspire attendees to walk with them on the same path. They also have extensive backgrounds in trauma-informed care, nursing, social work, spiritual care, grief, the healing arts, adult education, and hospice administration. Every one of them has also completed or is engaged in, our doula certification process.
