The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is an organization that helps LGBTQIA2S+ youth. The organization was founded in 1998 by three people who wanted to prevent suicide among LGBTQIA2S+ youth. The group has resources for young people who have lost a loved one, friend, or someone important to them. The Trevor Project provides counseling services through its 24/7 phone line, chat, and text service. It also has a website with articles, videos, and other resources to help LGBTQIA2S+ youth navigate grief. The Trevor Project’s goal is to create a safe and supportive community for  youth, even during difficult times such as grieving.
