ABOUT THIS TRAINING: Our Hospice End-of-Life Doula Training is designed for both nonmedical and medical hospice care providers who are committed to supporting patients and families during the terminal phase of life within the Hospice or long-term care model. Learn the unique role of the hospice doula by exploring the dying process, fostering self-determined transitions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams to honor end-of-life wishes. This training empowers individuals to become compassionate advocates and skilled companions for those at the end of life. The training includes self-paced prework and postwork (up to 9 hours combined) and live online group sessions (16 hours) totaling 25 hours. A Certificate of Completion will be provided upon fulfilling all training requirements.
**Enrollment is limited to 40 learners.**

Schedule Details
ONLINE Sessions (REQUIRED):
This class will meet over 2 sessions as follows (all times shown are Eastern Time):
- MARCH 8 | SAT 10am – 7pm
- MARCH 9 | SUN 10am – 7pm
Additional Details
- This training consists of online prework, live Zoom sessions, and online postwork.
- Prework consists of an estimated 6-8 hours of self-paced videos, journaling, and discussion forums.
- Postwork consists of an estimated 3-5 hours of independent exercise & discussion forum.
- Participation in our online sessions requires internet access and the use of a computer, tablet, or phone with audio & video capabilities.
- Intermittent breaks and/or lunches will be provided during each session, depending on the course format.
- After registering, participants will receive a printed workbook via FedEx as part of the course fees, which they will use throughout the training.
- To receive an INELDA Certificate of Completion for the course, you must complete all prework materials, attend required sessions, and complete postwork.
