Gathering Circle: A Space for Community, Grief, & Healing
INELDA holds a quarterly gathering space for all members where community, grief, and healing can come together to sensitively hold the many crises on a global scale that we confront daily.
As an organization committed to normalizing conversations around death, dying, loss, and grief; this gathering circle is created to provide space for these topics as we sit in company with one another.
We hope to meet the issues of this time with a doula mindset. We will make space for feelings of sadness, rage, despair, anger, and inequities.
Participants will:
- Come together: opening the circle, grounding ourselves, and naming what we carry in.
- Share and listening: an open, facilitated conversation led by all and held in confidence.
- Grief and release: a closing ritual to acknowledge what we are holding, and create space for what we hope to create.
A gathering circle is an indigenous practice rooted in connection, conversation, and community. We will come together to share, listen, and witness one another as we move through the mounting concerns of our time.
This is not a lecture. Your voice, your presence, and your participation shape the space. Every perspective matters. Every person belongs.
