INELDA was so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with Subrina Wood (1956-2025).

As an advisory board member, Subrina brought her deep expertise, energy, and insights to the organization. Not only was she a wiz with numbers, her deep love for sci-fi and commitment to the arts led her to co-found SyFy Sistas Podcast and CinneCinne Goes SyFy Podcast. Subrina will be honored over the course of the year with virtual events, culminating with her 70th birthday celebration in September 2026.

Subrina Wood was a Senior Tax Manager for Calibre CPA Group. She had 28 years of public accounting experience. She had extensive experience in the areas of tax, asset and personnel management for a number of clients ranging from not-for-profit organizations, banks, trust funds, investment firms, and public accounting firms. Subrina was a bona fide Trekkie and co-hosted a podcast called SyFy Sistas In addition, she was a movie buff known as the “Cinnamon Cinephile” and conducts trips to film festivals.

Subrina received her Master of Science degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts from the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was a certified public accountant in the state of Massachusetts, and spent the later years of her life in Maryland.
