Marc Changnon is an empathic and creative soul who pursues meaning through music, creative writing, healing, video art, spirituality, and hospice volunteering. He has a deep passion for the natural world and animals, the esoteric, meditation, and imagination. Marc loves nothing more than playing with his band, Light Creates Shadow.

Marc spent 14 years in education technology as an audio and video producer for creative services teams, leading content development for communications, marketing, and operations divisions. In 2008 he graduated from Portland State University, where he majored in psychology. Marc has taken the doula business training program at Going With Grace and has completed an extensive hospice volunteer training as a prerequisite for his role as a companion volunteer. He is passionate about furthering education, compassion, and advocacy for holistic deathcare, and he serves as an INELDA educator assistant.
