Mina Devadas
Development Advisor (she/her)
Kensington, MD

Mina Devadas is a family caregiver, INELDA-trained end-of-life doula, hospice volunteer, seasoned nonprofit and fundraising pro, community organizer, nature bather, and animal lover.

“Supporting my husband, parents, and close friends through terminal illnesses and dying motivated me to learn and do more. I see being a doula as a lifelong practice of learning and applying learnings.”

Mina comes from a creative background in the visual arts, holding a degree in fine arts from Maryland Institute College of Art. She has been a consultant for around a decade and has previously held leadership positions with national and international organizations, including the Center for Public Integrity, Children’s Defense Fund, National Childhood Cancer Foundation, United We Dream, and University at Albany. She discovered INELDA’s end-of-life doula training program in 2016 while exploring community programs for the dying.
