Sandra L. Place is a licensed nursing home administrator currently working Rolf Consulting providing healthcare education and consulting. Ms. Place has been in health care administration for over 38 years from physician practice management, acute rehab, and hospitals, to the last 24 years in long term care. She is a long-time advocate of Person Directed Care and utilizes her graduate degrees in psychology and holistic health for the development of innovative programs in the nursing home setting. Ms. Place’s homes have won numerous state and national quality awards and honors. Ms. Place is a Certified Eden Alternative Mentor, Educator, and Guide and teaches at the Michigan State University Henry Center for Executive Development as an instructor for the Nursing Home Administrator’s Course. Additionally, she is a certified healthcare musician (harp), End of Life Doula, certified in mindful meditation and a Reiki Master Teacher.
