INELDA will interview Shelby Kirillin, one of the INELDA instructors, who also has a growing end of life doula practice. Shelby lives in Richmond, VA and has been in private practice for a little over two years. Her practice, called A Peaceful Passing, recently added another end of life doula to its roster, reflecting the growth of the practice.

Shelby struggled, in the beginning, to get the word out about her doula practice and had difficulty at first explaining what an end of life doula does. But she has had clients almost continuously over these past two years and is gaining recognition in her community. A local hospice has started to refer clients to her and she regularly gets requests to speak on death topics at various venues in the community.

Hear how Shelby succeeded in establishing her practice, the things she has learned in doing the doula work, and how this passionate doula sees the future. We know this webinar will inspire you to keep working at developing your private practice or working as a volunteer doula at a hospice.
