When doulas begin the reprocessing work following a death, families will already be living in the very early stages of grief. Death is the most intense loss and tends to have a huge impact on people’s lives. So, while doulas facilitate a detailed review of the last days of a loved one’s life, they need to understand how people grieve and what helps them to recover and heal. The reprocessing visits give the doulas a unique opportunity to help family begin grieving in a more balanced and clear way. The doulas can paint a picture of the journey ahead, give family tools they can use along the way, and offer immediate emotional and spiritual support as they start out.

This Webinar will help you understand grief and provide some tools you can offer to families in this critical post-death process.
