Creating Your Action Plan
Communicating who you are and what you do as an end-of-life caregiver or doula can feel overwhelming. Whether starting out or a seasoned doula, you’ll need support to build visibility, credibility, and contacts when creating your action plan.
Ideas, Tools and Best Practices to Implement Your Plan
Learners will walk away with ideas, tools, and best practices to implement right away. Join us for a workshop of inspiration, ideation, and implementation planning for doula marketing. All learners will be given time to practice their pitch during the workshop and submit their video intro or pitch for feedback from the Program Development Department.
LEARNING OBJECTIVE
- Describe how, where you show up as a doula
- Create a list of connectors who may help bring you to the work
- Develop an elevator pitch(es) for these connectors
- Build the story of your why
- Identify tools available to INELDA trained doulas

EDUCATORS
Our growing team of educators draws from decades of work as end-of-life doulas. Their insights and stories from the bedside capture the essence of doula work and inspire attendees to walk with them on the same path. They also have extensive backgrounds in trauma-informed care, nursing, social work, spiritual care, grief, the healing arts, adult education, and hospice administration. Every one of them has also completed or is engaged in INELDA’s doula certification process.
