ABOUT THIS TRAINING: Our death doula training is for those who intend to support the dying and their loved ones at the end of life. We will investigate models of care, deep active listening, rituals and ceremonies, vigil planning, and more. This training is open to all and consists of self-paced prework (10-12 hrs), in-person training sessions (24 hrs), and online postwork (3-5 hrs). It also includes 1 optional online group reprocessing session. A Certificate of Completion will be made available after finishing all necessary materials.
LOCATION: IN-PERSON — Rhinebeck, NY
Schedule Details
This training will meet on the Omega Institute Rhinebeck Campus from July 6-11th.
Required IN-PERSON Sessions:
This training will meet for 5 days. Training schedule as follows (all times shown are Eastern Time):
- JULY 7 | MON 9am – 12pm + 2:30pm – 5pm
- JULY 8 | TUE 9am – 12pm + 2:30pm – 5pm
- JULY 9 | WED 9am – 12pm + 2:30pm – 4pm
- JULY 10 | THUR 9am – 12pm + 2:30pm – 5pm
- JULY 11 | FRI 9am – 12pm
Optional ZOOM group reprocessing session with your educator(s)
- JULY 18 | FRI 5:30pm – 7:30pm

Additional Details
- Attendance in person at all sessions will be required.
- This training consists of online prework, in-person sessions, and online postwork.
- Prework consists of an estimated 10-12 hours of self-paced videos and journaling.
- Postwork consists of an estimated 3-5 hours of independent exercises.
- Intermittent breaks and/or lunches will be provided during each session
- To receive an INELDA Certificate of Completion for the course, you must complete all prework materials, attend required sessions, and complete postwork.
- Completing our training allows INELDA members to be listed on our Doula Directory and to move forward with our Certification process.

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP: This workshop helps you explore your human responses to areas of importance, naming the visceral emotions, and teasing out their meaning. We will practice discerning, processing, and managing our emotions and feelings using an interactive guided imagery technique. This workshop will meet for one 3-hour session.
LOCATION: Online Classroom
COST: $130
