Event Details
Discover the INELDA Doula Approach rooted in listening, self-awareness, recognizing the dying person’s autonomy, and an understanding of physiological death and loss. This foundational approach to providing care at the end-of-life was designed for learners to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to effectively support and guide a dying person and their circle of care. This training is open to all and consists of self-paced prework (10–12 hrs), educator-led group sessions (24 hrs), and self-paced postwork (3–5 hrs).
Location: Abundance Community Farm 1020 Hamilton Road, Agassiz, BC (1.5 hours from Vancouver)
Dates: August 20-24, 2026
Cost: USD $1500 INCLUDES TRAINING TUITION AND ALL MEALS (discounts for members, students, and military)*

This training will take place place over 5 days as follows:
- THU | AUGUST 20 | 5:00pm – 8:00pm PT
- FRI | AUGUST 21 | 9:00am – 6:30pm PT
- SAT | AUGUST 22 | 9:00am – 6:30pm PT
- SUN | AUGUST 23 | 9:00am – 6:30pm PT
- MON | AUGUST 24 | 9:00am – 12:00pm PT

For offsite accommodations, there are hotels in nearby Harrison Hot Springs (15 minutes away), Agassiz (8 minutes away), and Chilliwack is a larger center with hotels, restaurants and shopping (30+ minutes away).

Additional Details
- Tier 2 and Tier 3 members receive 5% off training. Student and military members receive 15% off training.
- A training workbook designed to accompany you throughout the training from prework to postwork will be ordered for you to arrive when prework opens. Receipt of the hard copy is dependent upon registration timing. Workbooks are shipped weekly.
- An INELDA Certificate of Completion is issued upon completion of online prework, postwork, and attendance at educator-led group sessions.
- Nursing contact hours available for an additional fee.
